We are a collaborative of independent artists, craftspeople and small business owners who have banded together to promote our companies and products by supplying items for major event gift lounges.

By joining each other, we cut the cost of the entry fees to these exclusive celebrity events, and are able to provide, not just one or two items as a gift to capture the attention of famous people and important representatives of the Press, but instead are able to offer fun gift bags, filled with an interesting and eclectic array of goodies.

Not only do we get the chance to get our work into the hands of the rich, famous and influential, but we also get photo opportunities.  Imagine having pictures on your website or promotional material with a major celebrity holding one of your items?  Pretty cool!  And working together as a group makes this amazing opportunity possible - and affordable - for independent artists, craftspeople and small businesses like out.

Participation will be limited to 50 people per event.

QUESTIONS:

 

HOW IT WORKS:  You choose the event(s) you wish to participate in.  You contact Shannon Justice at shannon@lollipoplabs.com to register.  Each event has a fee, which is divided equally among the participants.  You can make the payments over time to Shannon, or all at once.  (The amount of the fee and the deadline for payment will vary for each event)

You send Shannon the product(s) you wish to have included in the gift bags, along with your business cards.  She ensures that all of your items are placed in the bags with care. (The amount of products requested will be noted on the info for each event, however, you may send a smaller amount if that is more in keeping with your budget)

You may also send one display item to maximize your photo op potential.

 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?: That will depend on the number of participants.  These events cost thousands of dollars just to be allowed to participate.  The more people who participate, the lower the fee will be.  Fees for past events have ranged from $50 up to $150 per person, plus the cost of merchandise.  Shannon can provide you with more information on specific events.

 

WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS DO I SEND?:  That's up to you.  You  may want to create something to go along with the theme of the event, or you may just want to send your best selling product.  Perhaps you'd like to send a variety of items.  It's all up to you.

They can be handmade items or professionally printed items.  All types are welcome.

 

DO I NEED TO SUPPLY GIFT BAGS?: No, Shannon handles the gift bags.

 

WHAT IS A DISPLAY ITEM?: A display item is an item that will be on a table-top display for all the gift lounge visitors to see.  Shannon will work to get at least one photo of each person's display item with a celebrity.  The item can be the same as what you supply for the gift bag or something totally different.  Again, it's all up to you.

You may ask Shannon to use a single display item for multiple events, or you can ask her to send it back to you when an event is over.  NOTE: Large items may require a postage and handling fee.

 

WHAT IS A GIFT LOUNGE?: A gift lounge is a part of major awards shows, events and sometimes even TV shows where gifts are given to celebrities and members of the press. You may have heard of it referred to as "swag".

 

DO WE GET PAID FOR OUR ITEMS?:  No.  These are "gift" bags.  The point is to get exposure for your product.  However, depending on where you live, you can probably write the cost off on your taxes.

 

HOW DO I KNOW THAT CELEBRITIES ARE REALLY GOING TO SEE MY ITEMS?:  Gift lounges are very common and are big business.  It benefits all of us to turn out a good product - namely - a gift bag full of fun and interesting goodies.  The more events Superfreakinfabulous VIP Gifters attends, the more our name will be out there, and the more we will be expected by celebrities and members of the press to have a presence at these events.

Getting celeb photos at these events is done all the time, and is great publicity.  You can see some of the great photo ops Shannon has gotten for her products on her website http://lollipoplabs.com/  Some of the celebrities include Jennifer Stone of Disney's The Wizards of Waverly Place, American Idol's Jordin Sparks, Marc Menard from Lost, Harry Shum Jr. from Glee, Aiden Turner from All My Children, Mishon Ratliff from Lincoln Heights, and even Dr. Ian Smith.

Shannon herself will attend the events and work to get as much exposure for each and every member of the group.  You will have access to any photos she takes.  Along with bragging rites!
